• On February 3rd, 2012 over 50 volunteers came together and sorted approximately 4,500 pairs of shoes. The next morning we were able to distribute over 2400 pairs of shoes to the needy in the Charlottesville/Albemarle community. To date we have given out over 90,000 pairs of shoes over the years. The shoes were donated through the generous contribution of shoes by your organization. On behalf of the Salvation Army and the local area Podiatry Association, we would like to thank you for your support. We hope that you will join us next year in our shoe drive for the homeless. • We are pleased to welcome Samantha Drumheller to our staff.
